Whole Wheat Corn Bread Recipe

This is a variation of a recipe I found here...I just made minor changes to make it a "clean" recipe.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F. Spray square baking pan with olive oil cooking spray.
  2. Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
  3. In second bowl, combine soy milk, applesauce, egg whites and sucanat. Stir until sucanat dissolves.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
  5. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
