  2. transfer chicken to 8 quart pot
  3. Dice onions, stir fry in same fry pan you cooked chicken
  4. Transfer to pot
  5. Add reminder of ingredients except half and half to pot
  6. simmer for about 45 minutes until reduce
  7. Add half and half
  8. simmer for 10 minutes
  9. Optionally serve with rice and/or cheese
