White Bean & Tuna Pita Pocket

Ingredients

  • 5 ounce can light tuna
  • 1/2 cup White Beans
  • 1/2 red onion sliced thinly
  • One Fresh Lemon juice only
  • one tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • one tablespoon Canola Oil
  • Garnish freshly chopped basil leaves
  • salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a bowl add white beans, lemon juice, sugar, vinegar, oil and gently mix set aside.
  2. Drain tuna and add to bean mixture with two forks (separate-leave larger pieces) add fresh basil, sliced red onion, S & P, gently mix
  3. Open Pita halves and spoon in mixture.
  4. Serve and Enjoy!
