Vintage Pineapple and Banana Cake Recipe

This is another turn of the century recipe from a friend's mother. Enjoy!

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour tube pan.
  3. Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl, using a wire whisk to blend completely.
  4. Make a well in the center and add eggs, pineapple, nuts, oil and vanilla.
  5. Mix together thoroughly slowly and completely with a wooden spoon. Mix in mashed bananas.
  6. Put in tub pan and bake for 70-75 minutes.
  7. Cool completely.
