Venison Italian Meat Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. venison (may use extra lean grnd beef)
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cans (1 pound 12 ounce.) tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 ounce.) tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoon dry crushed oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry crushed thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 c. minced mushrooms

Directions

  1. Put all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on low 10-12 hrs (or possibly high 5-6 ours). Throw away bay leaf. Serve over cooked spaghetti or possibly noodles and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
