Ingredients

My "health-nut-ified" cookie bars:
3/4 cup + 2 Tbsp white whole wheat flour
1/2 cup ground oats (grind 1/2 cup oats in a blender or food processor)
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tbsp canola oil
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup real maple syrup
1/4 brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 Tbsp non-dairy milk
1 Tbsp ground flax or chia seeds
1/2 cup semi-sweet (vegan) chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
