Ingredients
1/4 c. oil
1 c. onion, finely minced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 can (2 lbs.) tomatoes
1 can tomato paste (6 ounce.)
2 sprigs parsley, minced
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Saute/fry onion and garlic in oil. Puree tomatoes. Add in remaining ingredients. Cook for 1 hour covered and for 30 min uncovered. Makes 4 1/2 c.. Will freeze.
