Tomato Sauce Baked Meatloaf Recipe

Delicious any week night meal for a small family. Makes great leftover cold sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • one small grated onion
  • salt and black pepper
  • one teaspoon garlic powder
  • one teaspoon ground basil
  • 1-1/4 cup tomato sauce (I use my jarred fresh garden tomato sauce)
  • 2 tabelspoons Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Pre Heat Oven 350 F
  2. In a large mixing bowl add all ingredients and with clean hands mixed to combine. Form a meatloaf and place into a non stick baking dish.
  3. Pour tomato sauce on top of formed meatloaf and smooth out add remaining sauce to the baking dish.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil loosely and bake 50-55 minutes.
  5. Slice and serve.
  6. Refrigerate any leftovers for cold sandwiches, and add some cheese! Yum.
