  1. Roll meat in flour. Brown in shortening in large heavy pan. Add in soup and water. Cover, simmer 1 1/2 hrs, stir now and then. Add in remaining ingredients. Cover, cook till vegetables are tender, about 1 hour. Cook uncovered for last 10 min to thicken. 4 to 6 servings.
