%20for%20the%20egg%20and%20chicken%20recipes.%20We%20made%20the%20egg%20sandwich%20today%20and%20it%20was%20delicious.%20She%20says%20these%20are%20great%20to%20make%20in%20large%20quantities,%20freeze%20and%20store%20in%20small%20tubs,%20and%20just%20microwave%20and%20spread%20on%20the%20bread%20slices%20when%20it's%20time%20to%20use%20them.%20I%20guess%20it's%20better%20than%20buying%20the%20readymade%20bottled%20sandwich%20fillings-at%20least%20you%20know%20what's%20inside%20when%20you%20make%20them%20yourself!%20The%20third%20recipe%20is%20one%20I%20came%20up%20with%20myself,%20modified%20a%20little%20from%20a%20snippet%20I%20read%20in%20a%20magazine%20sometime%20ago.%20It's%20better%20to%20use%20brown%20bread%20(wheat)%20or%20multigrain%20bread%20whenever%20possible,%20even%20if%20you%20like%20the%20taste%20of%20white%20bread%20better%20:-).%20For%20my%20son,%20who%20is%20not%20yet%202,%20I%20found%20that%20presenting%20the%20food%20in%20attractive%20shapes%20and%20colors%20enhances%20the%20appeal,%20so%20when%20I%20make%20sandwiches,%20I%20cut%20out%20the%20shapes%20using%20cookie%20cutters.%20Hence%20the%20two%20ways%20of%20presentation%20in%20the%20photograph.%20With%20a%20little%20improvisation,%20these%20are%20things%20you%20could%20easily%20serve%20up%20as%20starters%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo.....I've%20survived%20one%20week%20of%20packing%20lunchboxes%20for%20my%20son%20and%20myself.....with%20oodles%20and%20oodles%20of%20help%20from%20my%20mom!%20After%20all%20my%20organization%20and%20planning%20and%20plotting,%20trust%20me%20to%20fall%20back%20on%20my%20mother%20when%20the%20going%20gets%20tough....This%20last%20week,%20my%20son's%20lunches%20have%20been%20packed%20by%20her%20with%20delicious%20curd%20rice,%20lemon%20rice,%20vegetable%20pulao,%20etc.,%20all%20of%20which%20I%20just%20didn't%20get%20time%20to%20photograph%20or%20blog%20about.%20Getting%20out%20of%20the%20house%20by%208:15%20a.m.%20with%20the%20little%20munchkin%20in%20tow%20has%20taken%20a%20good%20deal%20of%20teamwork%20on%20the%20part%20of%20both%20my%20parents%20and%20hopefully%20the%20next%20few%20weeks%20should%20see%20me%20more%20settled%20and%20in%20control...keep%20the%20recipes,%20comments,%20and%20suggestions%20flowing%20in!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGrind%20the%20chicken%20liver%20in%20the%20spice%20jar%20of%20your%20blender,%20until%20it%20is%20pasty%20in%20consistency.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHeat%20a%20saucepan%20and%20add%20the%20butter.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20add%20in%20all%20the%20other%20ingredients,%20one%20after%20the%20other,%20and%20stir%20around%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESprinkle%20some%20water%20and%20let%20it%20cook%20for%20about%202%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20reduce%20the%20heat%20and%20add%20the%20liver%20paste,%20stirring%20around%20well.%20You%20will%20see%20that%20the%20paste%20soon%20coagulates%20into%20a%20scrambled%20egg%20consistency.%20Let%20it%20simmer%20until%20cooked,%20which%20will%20take%20hardly%205%20to%2010%20minutes.%20You%20can%20add%20a%20dash%20of%20water%20if%20you%20want.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20and%20spread%20on%20bread%20slices%20and%20serve.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELinking%20this%20to%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
