We'd passed by Three Rivers many times, but always on the way to somewhere else. This time though, we made sure to stop and were so glad we did; amazing atmosphere, food and staff. JJ, our waitress, is a firecracker personality; so ask for her when you go to dine in. While you can dine in the bar area; there is a separate restaurant part in the next room; plenty of seating (tables, small and large booths).

%20325-6605%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe'd%20passed%20by%20Three%20Rivers%20many%20times,%20but%20always%20on%20the%20way%20to%20somewhere%20else.%20%20This%20time%20though,%20we%20made%20sure%20to%20stop%20and%20were%20so%20glad%20we%20did;%20amazing%20atmosphere,%20food%20and%20staff.%20%20JJ,%20our%20waitress,%20is%20a%20firecracker%20personality;%20so%20ask%20for%20her%20when%20you%20go%20to%20dine%20in.%20%20While%20you%20can%20dine%20in%20the%20bar%20area;%20there%20is%20a%20separate%20restaurant%20part%20in%20the%20next%20room;%20plenty%20of%20seating%20(tables,%20small%20and%20large%20booths).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThree%20Rivers%20has%20an%20eight%20page%20menu;%20something%20for%20everyone's%20tastes!%20We%20started%20off%20with%20the%20Onion%20Rings%20appetizer;%20crunchy%20goodness%20with%20a%20homemade%20buttermilk%20ranch%20dressing.%20We%20so%20wanted%20to%20order%20another%20round%20of%20onion%20rings,%20but%20needed%20to%20keep%20room%20for%20the%20main%20meals.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20of%20the%20menu%20pages%20is%20%22Daily%20Specials%22;%20we%20were%20there%20on%20a%20Monday,%20so%20I%20started%20with%20a%20cup%20of%20the%20Baked%20Potato%20soup;%20luscious,%20packed%20with%20potatoes,%20bacon%20and%20chives.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20sandwich%20for%20the%20day%20was%20the%20Smokehouse%20Cubano;%20tender%20pork,%20onion,%20pickle,%20on%20pressed%20bread;%20and%20Yes!%20%20I%20ordered%20bacon%20for%20it%20which%20enhanced%20the%20whole%20experience.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'd%20met%20some%20folks%20from%20Farmington%20awhile%20back,%20who%20had%20highly%20recommended%20Three%20Rivers%20Brewery;%20and%20told%20us%20to%20try%20the%20Drunken%20Steak%20Sandwich.%20%20This%20was%20hubby's%20main%20meal,%20but%20I%20had%20a%20bite;%20oh%20my%20goodness,%20so%20tender%20and%20juicy!!!%20%20This%20definitely%20hit%20the%20top%20of%20the%20awesomeness%20scale.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETwo%20relatives%20had%20joined%20us%20for%20lunch;%20one%20had%20the%20Garden%20Burger%20with%20a%20side%20of%20black%20beans;%20she%20surely%20raved%20about%20those%20beans,%20but%20enjoyed%20the%20burger%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20other%20had%20a%20half%20pound%20burger%20special%20(2%20-%201/4%20pound%20burgers%20stacked)%20with%20more%20onion%20rings);%20nothing%20left%20on%20her%20plate,%20so%20you%20know%20it%20was%20that%20good!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20I%20had%20already%20perused%20the%20dessert%20menu%20and%20saw%20that%20Tres%20Leches%20cake%20was%20listed;%20here%20was%20my%20chance%20to%20finally%20try%20this%20cake%20out.%20%20I%20only%20ate%20half%20my%20sandwich%20to%20make%20sure%20I%20had%20room%20for%20this%20treat.%20%20The%20cake%20is%20light%20with%20a,%20not%20unexpected,%20milky%20taste;%20it%20was%20almost%20like%20a%20palette%20cleanser%20and%20yummy%20treat%20all%20wrapped%20up%20into%20one.%20%20Definitely%20would%20have%20this%20cake%20again!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you're%20in%20the%20Farmington,%20New%20Mexico%20area%20and%20want%20a%20unique%20dining%20experience,%20Three%20Rivers%20Brewery%20has%20what%20it%20takes...atmosphere,%20friendly%20staff,%20awesome%20food.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMary%20Cokenour%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
