Ingredients
- 2Â 1/2 lb Beef pot roast
- 1/2 lb Beef brisket
- Â Â Suet (for browing)
- 2 x Onions, crushed
- 1 x Bay leaf
- 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Catsup
- 1 x Garlic clove, sliced
- 1/3 c. Seedless raisins
- Â Â Stock or possibly bouillon
Directions
- Brown meats in suet.Add in onions and garlic. Add in stock and bay leaf. Cover.
- Simmer for 1 hour. Add in vinegar and brown sugar. cover and simmer for 1 hour longer. Add in catsup and raisins. Cover. Simmer for 30 min longer. Serve with noodles or possibly Brown rice.
- sugguested menu: Sweet and sour pot roast, noodles, peas, green salad, custard, coffee or possibly tea.
