Swedish Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 c. navy beans soaked overnight - (2 to 3)
  • 1 lb thick cut bacon
  • 1 Tbsp. Coleman's Dry Mustard (or possibly more)
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 med onion minced

Directions

  1. Rinse and drain beans. Cook bacon till crisp. Combine all but half the bacon in either a 2 qt casserole or possibly a 9" by 13" pan. Top with remaining bacon. Bake for 90 min at 300 turning heat up to 325 for the last 20 or possibly so min. May also be done in crockpot.
  2. Note: There is no catsup or possibly other tomato in these beans.
