Summer Vacations and Chicken and Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 – 2.5 pound chicken cut into quarters
  • 3 large carrots, sliced into 1 – 2” pieces
  • 3 large celery stalks, sliced into 2” long pieces
  • 1 large onion, sliced into 6 wedges from top to bottom
  • 4 – 5 small new potatoes, cut in half
  • 1 – 8 count can of refrigerator biscuits, cut into quarters
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Chopped parsley to garnish
