Directions

  1. Mix the malagkit rice and the coconut milk and salt.
  2. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Prepare banana leaves in proportion sizes
  5. Scoop 2 tablespoons of rice mixture on to the banana leaves and fold,
  6. Make another one to match the same, tie together with string and set aside.
  7. Do the same until the rice is all used up.
  8. Put banana leaves on the bottom of a deep pot.
  9. Line up the tied Suman and fill with water until the pot is filled.
  10. Cook for 2 to 3 hours.
  11. Remove from the pot and let it cool.
  12. Serve with sugar or grated coconut meat.
