Ingredients

  • 1 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 8 slc (about 1" thick French bread)
  • 2 c. Crushed corn flakes
  •     Confectioner's sugar
  •     Strawberry cream sauce
  •     Fresh berries for garnish

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Dip the bread slices into mix and then coat each side with cereal. Heat a buttered skillet and cook each piece till golden brown and crisp. To serve, place two pcs of toast on each plate, sprinkle lightly with confectioner's sugar. Garnish with strawberry cream sauce and strawberries.
  2. Cream Sauce: 1 package (10 ounces) frzn sweetened strawberries (thawed) 1 c. lowfat sour cream or possibly plain yogurt1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  3. Mix the strawberries with the lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt and cinnamon.
  4. Yield:2 c.
