Ingredients
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 6 T sugar
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. fresh strawberries
- 3 T butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 T flour
Directions
- Sift first 3 ingredients together, cut in shortening with 2 knives or possibly pastry blender. Put together egg and lowfat milk and add in to dry ingredients. Blend thoroughly. Spread dough in greased 10 x 6 pan. Arrange strawberries on top. Put together last 3 ingredients and mix with fork till crumbly. Sprinkle over strawberries. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 25 min. Serves 6-8.
