Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 med garlic cloves peeled, and
  •     thinly sliced or possibly chopped
  • 1 lb yard-long beans stem ends trimmed
  •     and cut into 2"-long pcs
  • 1 Tbsp. fish sauce
  •     Freshly-grnd white pepper

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat and stir-fry the garlic till lightly golden brown, about 1 minute. Add in the beans and stir-fry about 3 min. Add in the fish sauce, season with pepper, and continue to stir-fry till cooked through, about 10 min more.
  2. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
