Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 sm Red onion, sliced
  • 1 x Red pepper, sliced
  • 1 x Garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 x Fresh chilli, finely sliced (optional)
  • 1 pkt Quorn pcs, 300g
  • 1 bn Spring onions, cut into 1 1/2 inch lengths
  • 2 Tbsp. Prepared Chinese black bean sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Dry sherry
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cornflour
  • 8 Tbsp. Water

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large wok or possibly frying pan over high heat. Add in the red onion, and pepper and stir fry for 1 minute.
  2. Now add in the garlic, chilli and Quorn pcs and cook for a further 3-4 min till the Quorn pcs have taken a light golden brown colour.
  3. Add in the spring onions and cook for 1 minute more.
  4. Add in the sauce ingredients, allow it to come to the boil and thicken slightly.
  5. Serve immediately on rice or possibly noodles.
