Steamed Cod Fish

Tender cod fish with ginger, garlic, soya sauce and garnished with spring onion.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium piece (about 350g) cod fish
  • 1 inch ginger - sliced
  • 4 pips garlic - sliced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • A good dash of sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp light soya sauce
  • Salt for taste
  • Spring onion for garnishing

Directions

  1. Place fish on a steaming tray.
  2. Add ginger and garlic and pour oil over.
  3. Season with salt.
  4. Steam till fish soft and tender.
  5. Into steamed fish, drizzle soya sauce and sesame oil.
  6. Garnish with spring onion.
