Ingredients
- 1Â 1/2 c. cool coffee
- 1/2 c. whole lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp chocolate syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 c. crushed ice or possibly ice cubes
Directions
- 1. Combine the coffee, lowfat milk, sugar, chocolate syrup and salt in a blender and mix on medium speed for 15 seconds to dissolve sugar.
- 2. Add in the vanilla extract and ice then blend on high speed till smooth and creamy. Stir with a spoon if necessary to help blend.
- 3. Pour drink into two (16-oz) glasses Makes 2 large drinks.
- CaramelFor this version, add in 2 Tbsp. of caramel syrup to the recipe above and prepare as described. Top each glass with whipped cream and drizzled caramel.
