Ingredients

  • 1 x Meaty ham bone, cracked
  • 2 c. Green split peas
  • 1/2 c. Minced onion
  • 2 x Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp Dry marjoram
  • 1/8 tsp Thyme
  • 2 quart Warm water

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in cooker. Add in the warm water. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hrs. Remove bones; cut off meat and add in to soup.
  2. Makes 6 to 8 servings
