Ingredients

  • 2 pkt Stouffer's spinach souffle - (12 ounce ea) defrosted according
  •     to package directions
  • 8 slc bacon cooked, liquid removed,
  •     and crumbled
  • 2 c. fresh shredded potatoes
  • 1 x egg separated
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Combine potatoes and onions in medium bowl. Transfer to prepared pie plate and pat down. Brush with egg white. Bake for 5 - 10 min or possibly till set.
  3. Combine spinach souffle, bacon and egg yolk. Pour over potato crust. Sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Bake for 45 to 50 min or possibly till knife inserted near center comes out clean. Season with salt and black grnd pepper.
  5. This recipe yields 8 servings.
