Ingredients

  • 1 pkt Chocolate-P'nut Butter Dessert Bar Mix, * see note
  • 1/2 c. Honey Roasted Peanuts, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter Or possibly Margarine, softened
  • 1 x Egg
  •     Decorating Icing (Chocolate & Vanilla)

Directions

  1. Or possibly, use your favorite recipe.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 . Line 8 by 8-inch or possibly 9 by 9-inch pan with foil, leaving the edge of the foil hanging over the side of the pan. Grease foil.
  3. Stir peanut butter bar mix, peanuts, margarine and egg in a medium bowl.
  4. Mix will be soft cookie dough. Spread in pan. Bake 18 to 22 min for 8-inch pan or possibly 17 to 23 min for 9-inch pan, or possibly till top is light golden. Cold completely; lift out foil and bars. Knead packet of frosting included with mix for about 10 seconds. Cut off one corner of packet.
  5. Squeeze frosting onto bars; spread proportionately. Using white decorator icing, pipe circles onto uncut brownies, each about 1/2 inch larger than the previous circle. Draw the tip of a knife from the center of the rings to the edge to create spider web effect. Place plastic spider near the center of the web.
  6. Makes 12 bars
