Ingredients

  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 3 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1-1//2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon better than boullion vegetable concentrate (or 1 bouillon cube)
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 8 ounces penne pasta (I use whole wheat) cooked according to package directions
  • Shrimp:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 small cloves garlic, minced
