Directions

  1. Rinse the chicken wings under cool running water, then drain and blot dry completely with paper towels.
  2. Place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle with the garlic salt, pepper, cayenne, and oregano.
  3. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hrs.
  4. Preheat a grill to medium-high.
  5. Grill chicken wings, turning once, till the juices run clear when pierced with a fork or internal temperature reads 165.
  6. Serve immediately with a side of Blue Cheese Dressing.
  7. Blue Cheese Dressing:
  8. 1/4 lb. blue cheese
  9. 1 c. mayonnaise
  10. 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  11. 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  12. 2/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  13. 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  14. 1/4 tsp. celery seed
  15. Blend all ingredients together in a food processor.
  16. Transfer to a bowl, cover, and chill till ready to serve.

    Dependent upon how spicy you want it, depends on how much cayenne you use. Use a little bit of peanut oil before throwing them on grill.

      Great recipe, although I recommend using some peanut oil to dap on the wings before throwing them on the grill.
