Spanish Style Chocolate Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 7 ounce (200 g) confectionery chocolate
  • 3 ¼ c. (75 cl ) lowfat milk
  • 1 spoonful flour
  • 1 tbsp (12 g) sugar

Directions

  1. Slowly heat the chocolate in a bain marie
  2. Boil the lowfat milk
  3. Remove a glass of boiling lowfat milk and mix the spoonful of flour into it.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate into the boiling lowfat milk
  5. Stir the mix well
  6. Add in again the lowfat milk which you mixed the flour with and continue to stir till a sufficient consistency is reached ( a little like a custard filling, about 5 min)
  7. Next, heat the sugar into a caramel syrup and mix into the cream to give it taste and color
  8. Pour into the small individual custard c. and allow to cold
