Ingredients
- 1 - 1 1/4 lbs. hamburger
- 1 (26 ounce.) jar Prego spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
- 7 ounce. spaghetti, uncooked
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 Large eggs, well beaten
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 c. cottage or possibly Ricotta cheese
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Brown hamburger and drain thoroughly. Add in spaghetti sauce and simmer till hot. Set aside. Cook spaghetti till tender-chewy (al dente). Drain and stir in butter. In separate bowl beat Large eggs. Add in Parmesan cheese and combine thoroughly with cooked spaghetti.
- Place in bottom of 10" glass pie plate, forming crust on bottom and up the sides. Bake 2 min on high in microwave. Spread cottage cheese or possibly Ricotta over the spaghetti. Cover with an even layer of meat sauce.
- Bake in 350 degree oven about 30 min. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Mozzarella. Return to oven and bake till cheese is melted and bubbly. This reheats well. NOTE: The pie can be prepared without the Mozzarella and frzn. When ready to use, thaw and bake as above, adding cheese at the end.
