  • 1 1/2 lb turkey tenderloins cut 3/4" pcs
  • 1 Tbsp. chili pwdr
  • 1 tsp grnd cumin
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 x red bell pepper cut 3/4" pcs
  • 1 x green bell pepper cut 3/4" pcs
  • 3/4 c. minced red or possibly yellow onion
  • 3 x garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 can chili beans in spicy sauce - (15 1/2 ounce) undrained
  • 1 can chili-style stewed tomatoes - (14 1/2 ounce) undrained
  • 3/4 c. prepared salsa or possibly picante sauce
  •     Minced fresh cilantro (optional)

Directions

  1. Place turkey in slow cooker. Sprinkle chili pwdr, cumin, and salt over turkey, toss to coat. Add in red and green bell pepper, onion, garlic, beans, tomatoes, and salsa. Mix well.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW 5 hrs or possibly till turkey is no longer pink in centers and vegetables are crisp-tender. Ladle into bowls and garnish with cilantro, if you like.
