  • 1 c. Golden brown Dipt Fish Fry Mix
  • 1 1/2 lb catfish fillets
  •     Vegetable oil for frying
  •     Golden brown Dipt Tartar Sauce for serving

Directions

  1. In a heavy frying pan, heat 1/4 to 1/2 inch vegetable oil to 375 degrees. Moisten fish with water; shake off excess.
  2. Pour Fry Mix into plastic bag. Shake moistened fish in bag till proportionately coated, a few pcs at a time. Let stand several min for coating to adhere.
  3. Fry a few pcs at a time in warm oil for 2 to 3 min on each side or possibly till golden, drain on paper towels. Serve with Tartar Sauce.
  4. This recipe yields 6 servings.
