Ingredients
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. catsup
- 1 c. meat stock
- 2 c. diced beef or possibly pork, cooked
Directions
- Brown onions and celery in Crisco in heavy skillet. Add in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat, about 30 min. Add in diced cooked beef or possibly pork and cook over low heat, 20 to 30 min. Serve warm on buttered buns which have been grilled.
