Ingredients

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. chili pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon jalapeno, minced
  • 4 green onions, minced
  • 3/4 c. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. cream style corn
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 6 lg. bell peppers
  • 1 lg. tomato, minced

Directions

  1. Cut off tops of bell peppers and place bell peppers in pot of boiling water with salt. Cover and boil 5 min. Drain. In skillet, saute/fry beef, garlic, chili pwdr, sugar, jalapenos, and green onions. Drain off grease. Add in minced tomato, corn, tomato sauce, and bread crumbs. Simmer 4 min. Stuff peppers and bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 40 min. May uncover last 10 of those min.
