Sour Dough Biscuits Or Sticky Buns

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sour dough
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil or possibly melted shortening
  • 1 c. unsifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda

Directions

  1. Use plastic bowls and utensils.
  2. Soften yeast (1 pack dry) in 1/4 c. water. Stir in with plastic spoon (no metal), 1 c. lowfat milk, 1 c. unsifted flour and 1/4 c. sugar; stir well. Let ferment at room temperature for several hrs. Add in again 1 c. lowfat milk, 1 c. unsifted flour and 1/4 c. sugar, stirring with plastic spoon. When it bubbles second time, place in refrigerator overnight till ready for use.
