Ingredients

  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • Salt and nutmeg to taste
  • 4 c. flour
  • Sugar and raisins for decoration on top of cookies

Directions

  1. Cream sugar and shortening. Stir soda into lowfat sour cream. Add in beaten Large eggs to creamed ingredients. Then add in alternately flour with salt and nutmeg and lowfat sour cream. Drop from spoon and flatten out. Sprinkle sugar on top and center with raisins. Bake quickly in not too warm an oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 min. Don't over bake.
