Ingredients

2 lbs. frzn hash browns, thawed
2 sticks butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. onions, minced
1 pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 pt. lowfat sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
Dash of garlic salt
2 c. cornflakes

Directions

Mix all ingredients except 1 stick butter and corn flakes. Put in greased casserole (9 x 13 inches). Heat other stick butter and pour over 2 c. cornflakes. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs. Can be made up ahead of time.
Variation: 2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, decrease topping ingredients to 2 Tbsp. butter and 1 1/2 c. cornflakes. This can be frzn in oven dish till needed.
