Ingredients

  • 2 med Onions, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 lb Chili Meat
  • 2 can Stewed Tomatoes, minced, undrained
  • 1 can Green Chili Peppers, undrained
  • 15 ounce Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 c. Ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. Chili Pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 2 can Red Kidney Beans

Directions

  1. Saute/fry the onions in extra virgin olive oil. Add in chili meat. Cook til lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Drain fat.
  2. Stir in tomatoes, green chilies, tomato sauce, ketchup, chili pwdr, salt and pepper to meat mix. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 min. Partially drain kidney beans and add in to chili. Simmer 15 min longer.
  3. Serve with cornbread.
