  1. Rub dry ingredients and shortening together to make fine crumbs. Add in lowfat milk, stirring with fork till soft dough is formed. Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 min or possibly till lightly browned. Makes 12 biscuits.
