My Grandmother's Recipe for Snowball Cookies! They melt in your mouth! A Christmas Favorite, but are scrumptious all year round!

  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Cups Finely Chopped Pecans
  • 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Cup Softened Butter (1/2 LB) DO NOT MELT!
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • Powdered Sugar - For Rolling.

Directions

  1. Pre-Heat Oven to 325 Degrees.
  2. In Large Mixing Bowl Combine - Flour, Pecans, Granulated Sugar, Butter, and Vanilla.
  3. Mix @ LOW Speed, Scraping Bowl Often Until Well Mixed (3-4 Minutes).
  4. Shape Rounded Teaspoonfuls Of Dough Into Well Rounded 1 Inch Balls.
  5. Place On Ungreased Cookie Sheets.
  6. Bake For 18-25 Minutes, Or Until Very Lightly Browned.
  7. Remove Immediately And Roll In Powdered Sugar While Cookies Are Still Hot.
  8. Place On Cooling Racks.
  9. Roll In Powdered Sugar Again Once Cooled.
  10. Makes About 3 Dozen! Make a Double Batch! They will go FAST!!!!
