Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. Minced onion -or possibly-
  • 1 Tbsp. Dry chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. Minced green pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Chili pwdr
  • 1/8 tsp Instant chopped garlic -or possibly-
  • 1 x Clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Basil (or possibly marjoram)
  • 1 can (18-ounce) undrained tomatoes
  • 12 ounce Frzn uncooked shrimp

Directions

  1. In 2-qt casserole, combine all ingredients. Mix well. Cook, covered, 12 min or possibly till shrimp are done and mix boils, stirring occasionally during last half of cooking time. Serve over rice.
  2. Serves 4-5.
  3. Note: Withfrozen shrimp there is about 1/2 c. liquid added from the juices which cook out during thawing and cooking. If your shrimp are thawed and liquid removed, you may have to add in this amount of water.
