- Mix lowfat milk and melted butter. Mix Bisquick and sugar. Mix lowfat milk mix with Bisquick, mix using a fork till a soft dough is formed. Beat mix vigorously (about 20 strokes). Turn dough out on a floured surface and knead 8- 10 times. Roll dough out till 1/2 inch thick. Cut out six 3 inch shortcakes. Dip fingers in flour and press a deep indention (about 2 inches across) in the center of each shortcake.
- Fill each indentation with about 2 Tbsp. pie filling. Bake about 10 min on a greased cookie sheet. Allow to cold. Spread top with frosting, if you like. Serves 6.
