Ingredients

  • 3 pound short ribs
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. onion (sliced)
  • 1 clove garlic (chopped)
  • 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. mustard
  • 1/2 c. vinegar

Directions

  1. Brown ribs on all sides in their own fat. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Pour off most drippings. Mix all the rest of the ingredients and add in to meat. Cover tightly and cook 1 1/2 to 2 hrs or possibly at 350 degrees in oven for 3 hrs. Very tender!
