  • 1 - 1 ¼ c. lukewarm water [use greater amnt in winter/dry climate & lesser in summer/humid climate]
  • ¼ c. honey
  • 3 ½ c. 100% Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2½ tsp. instant yeast [or 1 packet active dry yeast dissolved in 2 Tbs. of the water in the recipe]
  • ¼ c. nonfat dried milk
  • 1 ¼ tsp. fine sea salt
  • butter, at room temp. (optional)
