Sheppards Pie Gluten Free Recipe

GF Sheppards Pie - my childhood favorite, remade.



  1. Saute onions until soft, Season beef with salt and brown with onions, add garlic a little before the beef finishes browning. Stir in tomato paste, molasses, worcestershire sauce, and just enough water to loosen the mixture and deglaze the pan. Stir in green beans. Pour mixture into a baking pan, top with tatertots, and shredded cheese. Bake until bubbly at 350 (about 30 minutes).
  2. My notes:
  3. Molasses: you can use honey instead but I like the smokiness that molasses gives
  4. Cheese: any kind of cheese will do...parmesan, mozzarella
  5. Tatortots: My mom always put mashed potatoes on top instead of tator tots which is good too! I've even used french fries in a pinch.
