  1. In a saucepan, saute/fry the onion in the butter till tender. Add in the potatoes and water, and bring mix to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10 min, or possibly till the potatoes are almost tender. Add in the remaining ingredients and heat gently. Don't boil. Serves 4.
