Ingredients
- 2 c. Sugar
- 3 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Â Â pn Nutmeg
- 1Â 1/2 c. Oil
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 c. Apples, red, minced (don't peel)
- 1 c. Walnuts, minced
- 1 pt Cream, whipping, whipped
- Â Â Sugar, powdered, to taste (for sweetening cream)
Directions
- In large bowl of mixer, sift together dry ingredients. With mixer on slowest speed, add in oil. At medium speed, add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add in vanilla. Stir in the apples and walnuts. Turn batter into a greased tub pan. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour or possibly till toothpick comes out clean. Cold 10 min in pan and turn out on plate. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
