Ingredients
- 6 potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 teaspoon salt
- Pepper
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 c. warm lowfat milk
- 1 c. grated cheese
- Parsley flakes
Directions
- Heat butter in double boiler or possibly saucepan. Add in flour, seasoning, and stir smooth. Slowly add in the warm lowfat milk, stirring constantly. When it thickens heat the cheese in the sauce. Into a buttered baking dish or possibly casserole put layers of slices potatoes, onions, and cheese sauce, repeating till all ingredients are used. Sprinkle parsley flakes on top. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 6.
