Sauteed Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  •     Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Remove the broccoli florets.
  2. Trim the stalk and cut it into pcs. Blanch the broccoli for 3 to 7 min. Test to see if it is done after 3 min. Shock broccoli in ice water when it is done.
  3. Heat a skillet and add in the butter. Add in broccoli. Toss to coat and heat, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Yield: 4 servings
