Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 tbsp. minced onions
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 apples

Directions

  1. Cook sausage and onions till sausage is no longer pink. Cut 1/2 inch slice from top apple core, remove apple pulp leaving 1/2 shell. Chop apple pulp, add in sausage with raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg. Fill apples with sausage mix. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min. Makes 4 servings.
