  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Heat a large, heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat; crumble sausage into skillet and cook, adding onion and green bell pepper till sausage is browned and onion and pepper are soft. Drain and throw away excess fat.
  3. Spread a 13- by 9- by 2-inch baking dish with sausage mix, making six deep or possibly broad proportionately-spaced depressions in the mix. Break one egg into each depression, leaving yolks unbroken. Season to taste with salt and pepper; set aside.
  4. Combine bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese in a small bowl; sprinkle mix over Large eggs. Measure 2 Tbsp. of water onto each egg, filling the depressions entirely. Bake for 10 min or possibly till Large eggs are hard.
  5. This recipe yields 6 servings.
