  • 2 lbs. sauerkraut, well liquid removed
  • 1 can (12 ounce.) light beer
  • 1 lg. minced onion
  • 1 apple, cored and minced
  • 2 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 6 knockwurst or possibly 1 pound cocktail franks

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan combine sauerkraut, beer, onion, apple and caraway seed. Cover lightly and simmer 20 min. Add in knockwurst or possibly cocktail franks. Simmer another 15 min.
